Simon Porte Jacquemus founded his label in Paris in 2009 and has since combined the simplicity of southern French silhouettes with playful proportions. The Pelota cardigan is knitted from a blend of merino wool and cashmere, features a high shawl collar over a boxy silhouette, and is adorned with horn buttons and contrasting details on the inside of the button placket. Worn over a T-shirt and paired with wide-leg pants, the cardigan replaces a light jacket in the fall and serves as an extra layer in the winter.
