Moncler was founded in 1952 in the village of Monestier-de-Clermont in the French Alps near Grenoble and started out with sleeping bags, rain jackets and tents. After moving to Italy, the brand developed into a luxury lifestyle label with technical outdoor expertise. The world-famous down jackets and coats are particularly iconic.
