Herno was founded in 1948 on Lake Maggiore and named after the river that flows beneath the factory. What began as a line of weatherproof raincoats has grown into one of Italy's leading outerwear brands, which remains family-owned and made in Italy to this day. The down jackets and faux fur coats are particularly popular.
