Glass bell
Glass bell
Cire Trudon, founded in 1643, is the oldest wax manufacturer in the world and supplied the court of King Louis XIV as well as most of the major churches in France.
In the 19th century, brides kept their flower crowns under a glass bell jar or in a wooden container with a glass lid. Over the course of the 20th century, the wedding bell jar became less and less important, but it did find its way into the realm of collectible and decorative objects. Since the opening of his Parisian boutique, Trudon has used the traditional wedding glass bells to display his candles. The glass bells are now part of an important ritual in the house: they are ceremoniously raised to reveal the unique fragrance compositions of the candles.
Format: Matching a classic candle (270g) from Cire Trudon.
